3/4 Peace: Ben Sluijs, Christian Mendoza & Brice Soniano

3/4 Peace (read: “3 for Peace”) is a chamber trio featuring Belgian saxophonist Ben Sluijs, Belgian-Peruvian pianist Christian Mendoza and French double bassist Brice Soniano.

Their music moves between jazz and classical, driven by improvisation and their own compositions. The result is a rich, tasteful sound that almost feels like a top-level culinary experience.

They play like three kindred spirits: warm, intimate, and with an almost-whispering intimacy – like a conversation with an old friend, or a kiss from a long-lost lover. They present their latest album, Short Stories.
