No tolling bells for this 'Swinging Bells' concert, but instead you'll enjoy some swinging improvisations by Carl Van Eyndhoven, carillonneur of Mol and Tilburg, on the carillon of the University library.

Enchanting melodies by George Gershwin ('They Can’t Take That Away From Me' and 'I Got Rhythm') and Michel Legrand ('The Summer Knows' and 'Watch What Happens' …) are alternated with some gems from Latin jazz ('Black Orpheus', 'Summer Samba', …) and a 'Tribute to Django Reinhardt' and the catchy repertoire of the Hot Club de France ('Swing 42', 'Nuages', 'After You’ve Gone' …).

He will round up with some of his favourite songs, inspired by the versions of Sonny Rollins, Bill Evans, Joe Pass: 'St. Thomas', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Ain’t Misbehavin' …
