Yard buckets, PVC pipes, tin cans, washing wire, pots and pans ... that’s all Brussels-based multi-instrumentalists Rik Staelens, Margo Maex and Timo Vantyghem need for their surprising and delicious mix of jazz, eastern music and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

Schroothoop has already convinced many audiences with performances at Gent Jazz, Leffingeleuren, and STUK. After their acclaimed debut album, Klein Gevaarlijk Afval, the group is currently working on their second album. Without a doubt hypnotic, shimmering and infectious.
