    This beloved baseball classic tells the thorny life story of an ambitious hitter. The film, starring Oscar winners Robert Redford and Robert Duvall, won a 1985 Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition for the beautiful soundtrack composed by Randy Newman. (FRI 10.03)
