Themacombo Fred Hersch

As an annual tradition, Leuven Jazz presents several theme ensembles of the jazz department at LUCA School of Arts. Under the guidance of their tutor, students will compile a repertoire based on a specific theme or an icon from the history of jazz.

Led by bass player Jos Machtel, this ensemble will pay tribute to pianist Fred Hersch, artist in residence at Leuven Jazz 2022.
