Themacombo Bebop To Go!
As an annual tradition, Leuven Jazz presents several theme combos of the jazz department at LUCA School of Arts. Under the guidance of their tutor, students will compile a repertoire based on a specific theme or an icon from the history of jazz.
With his students, saxophone teacher Frank Vaganée will introduce you to well-known and lesser-known pieces of bebop. Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie ... all come in review!
