Leuven has excellent bus connections to the rest of the province of Flemish Brabant (and beyond), thanks to bus company De Lijn.
The address of each venue allows you to find the quickest bus link on www.delijn.be.
De Lijn also organises a night bus service on Friday and Saturday night. These buses depart at bus stop Rector de Somerplein (city centre) at around 23.00 h, 00.00 h, 01.00 h and 02.00 h.
Leuven is located at the intersection of two main highways: the E40 and the E314.
Leuven is located at approximately 30 minutes from the international train station of Brussels-South (Bruxelles-Midi).
From there you can reach Paris, London, Amsterdam or any other European destination at high speed.
Brussels Airport (Zaventem): with a direct train connection you can reach Leuven in a mere 15 minutes.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport: with the airport shuttle you can reach Leuven in 1 hour.

ON FOOT OR BY BIKE
Getting around in Leuven is very easy on foot or by bike.
All the venues are located in the city centre and can be reached on foot in under 15 minutes (maximum).
PARKING YOUR CAR
It can sometimes be a bit difficult to park your car in Leuven.
To solve this inconvenience, the city of Leuven proposes a flat rate of only €3 to park in four underground parking garages from 19.00 h till 7.00 h in the morning.
The rate is valid in:
parking garage De Bond: Martelarenplein 18 (close to the train station)
parking garage Diestsestraat: Sint-Maartensdal 4
parking garage Kinepolis: Bondgenotenlaan 145-149
parking garage Minckeler: J.P. Minckelersstraat 94
If you park your car at parking garage De Bond or Heilig Hart, you enjoy a free (2-way) bus trip to the city centre from 19.00 h.
All you need to do is show your valid parking ticket to the bus driver who will offer you a bus ticket for all the occupants of your car. On your return to the parking garage you use the same ticket.
Free parking is possible at parking lot Bodart.
This parking lot is located on the ring road. You can reach the city centre on foot or by bus (paying ticket).
