Wolfert Brederode Trio
11.00 h – Living room Joke Baeten, Erasme Ruelensvest 181, 3001 Heverlee
Recording for the prestigious ECM Records is an honour reserved to a rare breed of musicians, as the bar is set at a very high standard. Dutch pianist Wolfert Brederode has already released two albums on this label, which should already speak for itself. After two excellent and exquisitely balanced albums with an international quartet, it was time for a change. Brederode now returns to the trio formation, and invited bass player Gulli Gudmundsson, who also starred in his very first trio. Gudmundsson brought along drummer Jasper van Hulten.
